We are thrilled to annouce the next convention will be in Monterey, California, April 7-11, 2014.
Artists loved the high caliber of the presenters, the supportive and vigorous mood of the programs, and the professionalism of the production at the last convention. Participants made it known they wanted to return to Monterey, with its abundance of painting opportunities and beautiful weather … and we agreed.
Due to high demand, we are adding a FULL-TIME TRACK for WATERCOLOR artists and a FULL-TIME TRACK for PASTEL artists. Each track will take place in separate rooms on the other side of the conference center.
We're also adding an ART SHOWCASE to show and sell your artwork.

Plein Air Magazine would like to thank those of you who attended the 2nd annual plein air convention. There were close to 700 of you and again history was made with the most number of people painting in one place at the same time. Stay tuned for the dates and location of the 2014 event, and register early to assure a seat.
