Board buses or drive to Asilomar Resort, where we will serve you lunch and where we will paint the remainer of the day. Bus return times to be announced. Field painters and faculty will be doing on-site demonstrations, critiques. Set up and paint with them, near them, or just walk from painter to painter to see each paint.

PAINT DAY

OUTDOOR PAINTING

7:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. (You can stay and paint longer.) Paint day along the wharf in front of the hotel. Stunning views of colorful shacks, boats, water, and trees. Everyone will be painting together for much of the day. This is the last official event. If you're staying over, we'll see you in the hotel at night for an evening in the bar!
 

NOTES:

If you are arriving early on Wednesday, we suggest you register at the Conference Center and then go out and paint, if you are NOT attending the Plein Air Basics Course or the Plein Air Umbrella Group Meeting.

Wednesday is an unofficial paint day, with some field instructors at the following parks:
 
San Carlos Beach

Lake El Estero Park

Friendly Plaza/Colton Hall (First Capital Building in California) 

All are walking distance from the Monterey Conference Center.
